For each of us, at some point in our lives we were searching......
For each of us, at some point in our lives we were searching......
That quiet ache...like something is missing even when everything looks fine?
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." - Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV)
What is my purpose? Why does life feel both beautiful and broken?
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork." - Psalm 19:1 (NKJV)
Love, peace, and connection; moments that feel like home. Deep down we sense life was meant to be whole.
"Then God saw everything that He made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day." - Genesis 1:31 (NKJV)
We chose our own way. We hurt others and were hurt. The world fractured and we felt the distance from God.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23 (NKJV)
We chase success, relationships, pleasure, and distraction. Nothing fully fills the ache.
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it?" - Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV)
He promised a way back. He would not leave us in the brokenness but would provide a Rescuer.
"The people who walk in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined."
- Isaiah 9:2 (NKJV)
He lived among us with compassion. He showed God's heart and took on what we could not fix.

Jesus took the penalty for our brokenness. He was buried, and on the third day He rose; victory over death.
"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures." - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (NKJV)
Jesus offers forgiveness, purpose, and a new beginning to anyone who turns to Him. You don't need to have it all figured out.
A simple prayer:
"Jesus, I'm searching. I need You. Forgive me. Come into my life. Help me follow You."
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3:20 (NKJV)
Faith is the beginning of a new life. You will still grow and stumble, but you are not alone. Church is a community, read the Gospel of John, talk with someone who follows Jesus.
1) Pray 2) Read the Gospel of John 3) Talk to someone
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
